  1. Jun 10,  · Another brilliant LP cover from The Cars. This lady is a real stunner, I would love her to come around to my house and shake up an exotic cocktail for me sometime, it would have to be when my mam has gone out to church for the evening though as she is adamant I shouldn’t drink alcohol!!/5().

  3. "Shake It Up" by The Cars will leave you stunned and amazed. This was the band's 4th studio album, and they showed no signs of running out of steam artistically. "Shake It Up" is not their best album but it's definitely a favorite of mine. Out of the 9 tracks, there is ONLY one track that sounds a little dated, "I'm Not The One"/5(85).

  7. The original CD pressing of Shake It Up had reasonable sound quality, but nothing compared to it's vinyl mangranealotiro.sibackrigepimilgihindsmoothmarburi.co newly "expanded" version sounds so compressed,it's hard to discern, perceive or recognize much of the instruments and the voices sound mangranealotiro.sibackrigepimilgihindsmoothmarburi.co jewel case has been replaced by a somewhat wider and flimsy cardboard/paper that does not fit into the conventional CD rack that accommodates plastic jewel cases /5(47).

  9. Shake It Up is a full fledged quandary, from the outside in The cover, designed by drummer David Robinson, looks like a cheesy picture disc package, a far its from the group's usually elegant graphics The lyrics suggest that Ocasek has succumbed to the misogynous love kills notions of his fellow arena bands. And the tunes penned in dark, minor.
